A fun, whimsical wedding that is pure eye candy: The *right* way to celebrate the union of two people who may from different cultures and backgrounds but feel in sync with each other like they’ve never felt in sync with anyone before.
Mayuri & Christos’ big day was nothing short of a colourful, fantastical affair. There were two ceremonies, Hindu and Greek, and they both included gorgeous matching outfits, bright flower decorations, and beautiful traditions.
The Hindu ceremony was officiated by the bride’s mother and involved several rituals, such as the bride’s parents washing the groom’s feet before the wedding, taking 7 vows, and the groom putting on a special wedding necklace. The couple, their families, and their delighted guests were all dressed in traditional Indian clothes and elegant sarees in vibrant blues, mint greens, bright oranges, and dashing pinks.
The second part of this unique celebration, the Greek ceremony, included a combination of blush, white, and pale-yellow decorations, hanging lighting on the trees and candles in the pool for a dreamy feel, and a special dinner party for the happy families and friends. The menu comprised fresh seafood, signature Greek dishes, and delicious specialties.
Verdict: this is how you turn a normal wedding day into a big, fun, love fest!
“Creative, friendly, flexible service by Nikiforosphotography team at our intimate villa wedding covering two ceremonies back to back. We had a Hindu ceremony for 1.5 hours, break for 2 hours and then Greek ceremony, dinner reception. It was a busy and crazy day with Indo-Greek cultures coming together. Vicky and Nick did a fantastic job of covering both ceremonies from many different angles. Even though I didn't give Vicky a list of photos I wanted to have, she was able to work around my instructions on the day and capture lots of family and friends shots. It felt like a long wait to receive our photos but it was worth it.
We are very pleased with the result and would highly recommend them to any couple or any event wanting to capture loving memories forever. We wish anyone reading this the vest best and to Nikiforos team success in whatever they do.
